How a projector installation works
- Site survey. We check the room, the ceiling or wall structure, power and light, measure throw distance and seating, and stress-test the mounting point for the weight of the projector and screen.
- Choose the projector and screen. Laser, DLP or LCD projector and the right screen size, gain and material for the room, from Stewart Filmscreen, Elite Screens or Dragonfly.
- Mount the projector. A high-quality mount matched to your projector's make and model, set at the correct throw distance and height.
- Hide the cables. HDMI, HDBaseT and power run inside the wall or ceiling with in-wall rated cable, for a wire-free look.
- Install the screen. Fixed, manual or motorized screen mounted level, with motor wiring and triggers connected.
- Calibrate and hand off. Brightness, contrast, color, focus and geometry set for your room, then we show you how to use it.

Can a projector stay outside?
Projectors should be under cover or in a weather-protected enclosure. Screens can be permanent outdoor-rated frames or portable screens you set up for movie night.
How bright does an outdoor projector need to be?
After dark, 2500 lumens or more gives a good picture on a typical backyard screen. Nearby lights make a big difference.
Do you install outdoor sound too?
Yes. We install outdoor and landscape speakers so the sound matches the size of the picture.

Attach projectors ceiling mount to the ceiling; we provide The perfect high quality mount Bracket (make and model number of a projector must be specified by the client or determined during an initial site inspection)
Attach and secure projector on the ceiling mount
Conceal all video cables going to the projector (up to 15 feet) for a wire free look*. All HDMI and Component cables we provide are 18 feet long, support 1080p with 36bit depth and CL3 rated for in-wall wiring
Attaching a clean source of power will eliminate electromagnetic and radio frequency interference from your AC power and components for better high definition picture and to protect your projector against potentially damaging surges and spikes
