What lighting control does
- Scenes: one button sets several lights to the right levels at once.
- Engraved keypads: buttons labeled “Entertain”, “Cleaning” or “Path”, in finishes that match your decor.
- Schedules and astronomic timeclock: porch and landscape lights on at sunset, off at midnight, adjusted automatically through the year.
- Sensors: occupancy and vacancy sensors for garages, closets, restrooms and offices.
- Away mode: lights that come on and off like someone is home.
- Phone and voice: check and change any light from anywhere, or ask a voice assistant.
- Shades: motorized shades on the same keypads and scenes.

New build or existing building
New construction and remodels: plan lighting control with the prewire, so keypads go exactly where you want them and lights can be grouped freely.
Existing homes and businesses: wireless dimmers and keypads replace the switches you have, with no opening walls. Most rooms are done in a day.
Commercial lighting control
Conference rooms with a “Presentation” scene tied to the projector, restaurants with lunch and dinner levels on a timeclock, offices with after-hours shut-off and sensors, and churches with house and stage scenes. Lighting can run from the same touch panel as the room’s audio and video.

Can you add lighting control without rewiring my house?
Usually, yes. Wireless dimmers and keypads replace your existing switches and talk to each other by radio, so walls stay closed.
Do I need a full smart home system?
No. Lighting control can stand on its own and be added to Control4, RTI or Savant later.
Will it work with LED bulbs?
Yes, with dimmers and LED products that are rated to work together. We match them so lights dim smoothly without flicker or buzz. See LED lighting.
Can I still use the lights if the internet goes down?
Yes. Keypads, dimmers and schedules run locally; the internet is only needed for phone control away from home.
